Bol d'Or Mirabaud, D35

One of the longest Bol d’Or of the history. 19 hours and 30 minutes for the first multihull.

The start has been done at 10am, in 2-4 knts of decreasing wind. It was already hard to sail out of the small lake. We passed the mark 4th in Versoix and all the D35 were sailing to « la pointe à la Bise”. At this point, we had to decide to sail on Swiss cost or French cost. Unfortunately, our choice was the wrong one, we kept one sailing on the Swiss cost, but the light gusts 1-2knts stayed on the French cost.

We crossed the finished line 5 hours behind the first D35…it was long, really long for my first Bol d’Or
