Day 6, 14th of July:
More than 30knts on our course area. We couldn't sail today. The world championship is finished, with only one race of final and 6 races overall (instead of 12). I end up 16th out of 114 girls. For sure I'm a bit disappoited because I didn't reach my goal of top 10. I missed many occasions to gain some points. And now, when I see that only 11 points are separeted me from the top 10... But next time, for sure I gonna make it.

Day 5, 13th of July:
No wind at all on the course area. We'v been waiting for 5 hours. No race.
Tomorow, start at 10 am for 3 races in strong wind. The points are very close. With 3 good races I can reach the top 10! Come on, let's fight!!

Day 4, 12th of July:
This first race of the final was crazy. I got a yellow flag for sculling on the starting line, nice start. Then we sailed in 6-7knts with a shift of wind of 100degres! The comite let us finish a race like this. I ended up 22nd and keep my place of 16th! 

Day 3, 11th of July:
Today was the end of the qualification. It was so windy in the morning that we couldnt go sailing. We did one race, in light wind late in the evening. I finished 8th and will start the finales in position 16th.

Day 2, 10th of July:
We had light wind condition, 7-14knts, and very tricky. The wind was unstable in direction and in speed.
I did quite a lot of tactical mistakes..but still, I'm not very fast upwind. Hard to fight against the quickest. I'v done 10th and 19th.

After 4 races, I'm 23rd, only 15points away from the top 10...but we still have 8 races to go, come on! Tomorow, very windy, I gona fight hard! 

Day 1, 9th of July:
The wind has been a bit stronger than what we expected. We had a lot of rain, cold and 16-25knts.
First race was hard for me. After a good start, I didnt wait long enough on the left side and cross the fleet too early. I passed 20 at the first mark. Then on the downwind, I had some problem with my tiller and lost the control of my boat. I capzised on a girl...nice start! After my 720, there were not many girls behind.
Second start was good again. I did the right tactic.. but i'm a bit slower than the others upwind, and can't reach the top girls. I could catch up downwind and finished 7th at the race.

Overal, 6 races of qualification are gonna be sailed followed by 6 races of final.

The sailing conditions have been really good every days. We had 15-25knts, with shoppy waves and a lot of rain.
Today, Wednesday, 2 days to go before the regatta, I take a day off so my legs can have a break. I might use them a lot with the windy condition for the end of the champiopnship. The weather forcast for the first days looks light wind, but for later, the strong wind will come back...for sure!

I arrived on the 1st of July, with Manon and our coach Didier. We got really nice sailing condition today: sun, almost warm, 20-25knts and 40m/min of courant. Wonderful!
