After my extraordinary 6th place and Olympic diploma at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, I am on the road again, this time to London, with the objective to win a medal for Switzerland in the category Women’s One Person Dinghy - Laser Radial.
Becoming an elite sportswoman requires a perfect blend of talent, ambition and commitment. In order to achieve this goal, Nathalie has again committed herself full time – sailing or training for more than 230 days per year, in Switzerland and abroad in the World Cup circuit. Thanks to share this challenge with our team.

Since 2004 the Laser Radial is the new Olympic Women’s One Person Dinghy. This class counts about 200,000 units in 120 countries. The reason of this success is the strict « one-design » rules and construction. This avoids any material race and put everyone on an equal chance basis During the World Championships and the Olympics, the boats and the sails are randomly distributed by the organizers. Only the physical, mental and tactical skills from the sportswoman are making the difference. Among the 55 world-wide nations sailing the Radial, only the top 28 countries will be elected to the Olympic Games. Moreover only one athlete per country can possibly qualify himself. ![]() Hull Length : 4.23 m |
